Santiniketan Public School is a full-fledged Senior Secondary School (I-XII) with over 1450 students affiliated to CBSE. CLASS ROOMS

Large airy Classrooms filled with light, varied activity zones, ample areas for sports, and administrative service block are dynamic. They are connected by wide courtyards and corridors.

ASSEMBLY

The morning assembly sets the rhythm to the child and ensures a healthy start to the day. The students mind, body and soul are directed towards moral and ethical values.

Besides the Prayer Song, Pledge, Thought for the day, The news and announcements, students contribute poems, skits and patriotic songs in the assembly. is a creative channelization of the instinctive talent of students and is integrated along with the school activities.

LABS

The school has a spacious Composite Lab with all the facilities. The Laboratories are equipped with the most modern instruments and Teaching Aids suitable for the students of Classes 4 to 10.

We also have Separate labs Such as Biology (Botany and Zoology), Physics and Chemistry and Computer Science for Senior Secondary Classes.

LANGUAGE AND COMPUTER LAB

The school has a full fledged Computer Lab with a provision of 40 students at a time. The Computer lab is also equipped with a English lab’s Module where students from Class - 1 are given sufficient number of Periods to work in the Labs.

MATHEMATICS LAB

Mathematics Lab provides hands on experience especially for slow learners.

LIBRARY

The school has a spacious furnished library ensures great Academic standards and leisure reading. The Library can accommodate more than 100 students at a time. It has more than 6400 books on various subjects, a variety of Standard Periodicals and Educational CD’s. The well stacked Reference Sections houses Encyclopedias, Dictionaries and Books on almost all topics required for the students up to Class - 12. In addition, it also contains study materials for children preparing for Private and Scholarship Exams for Classes 1 to 12.

SMART CLASS

One of the Unique facilities that the school offers is the Digital Learning Classes. Electronic Media is used to encourage learning through both visual and audio media. The school is equipped with smart classes in all the rooms including the library.

ART AND CRAFT

The creativity of the Students has been nurtured in the Art and Craft Room. The students are taught to draw, colour and paint. They are also guided to do thread work, origami, clay craft and art from waste.

MULTIPURPOSE HALL

The school is equipped with a Multipurpose Hall where the Parents Teacher Meetings, Students Orientation, Lectures by Resource Persons are conducted here. The Multipurpose Hall also houses various activities for students like Sports House Discussions, Group Craft Activities, Projects and Competitions.

SPECIAL COUNSELLING WING

The school has an In house Counselor who stays in school all through the day. The counselor meets the students on a periodical basis based on the needs of the child, Parent and the School.

• School Counseling taken place in a private setting from Grades KG to XII.

• A counseling room is designed to facilitate student behavior and attendance and help students develop socially.

Transport

Santiniketan Public School use specially designed school buses. We provide five buses in and around Theni district. All the buses are equipped with various forms of warning and safety devices like GPS.
