INTERNATIONAL DAY OF RADIOLOGY

          The International Day of Radiology was celebrated on November 8, 2019 at Santiniketan Public School. It was celebrated with the aim of building greater awareness of the value that radiology contributes to safe patient care and the contributions of radiologists play in the health care. The theme of 2019 focuses on the essential role that imaging professionals play in the detection, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of sports related injuries. A speech was given by Mrs. Dhanalakshmi BSc., B.Ed., reiterating the benefits of Radiology. The students of VII and VIII visited Agathia Scan Centre, Vaigai Scan Centre, Maharani Scan Centre and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Radiologist and Radiological technologists for rendering their service.
